1. Our Services

• Apply for New York Highway Use Tax (NY HUT) permits
• File NY HUT quarterly tax returns
• Receive filing reminders and compliance alerts

We are a private third-party service provider and are not affiliated with any government agency. Our role is to simplify compliance with New York Highway Use Tax requirements.

2. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete company, vehicle, and payment information.
• Review all information carefully before submission.
• Ensure your filings are completed on time.

We are not responsible for delays, rejections, or penalties caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the user.

3. Authorization to Act on Behalf

By signing and submitting any application or filing through this website, you authorize Carrier Compliance Group and its designated agents to act on your behalf with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, specifically for matters related to your Highway Use Tax (HUT) account.

This authorization allows Carrier Compliance Group to:

• Prepare, submit, and manage your HUT registration or filing;
• Communicate with the Department of Taxation and Finance regarding your filing status or corrections; and
• Receive information or correspondence necessary to complete your filing accurately.

This authorization is limited strictly to HUT-related services and does not extend to other tax matters or unrelated state accounts.

You may revoke this authorization in writing at any time by contacting our support team. Revocation will not affect any submissions already processed before the request.

4. Payments

• All payments must be made in full at the time of filing or application submission.
• Payments are processed securely by third-party providers.
• We do not store any credit or debit card information on our servers.

5. Refund Policy

All services provided by our company are non-refundable.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that all services include non-refundable research, review, and processing fees. These services begin immediately after payment is received, regardless of whether an application or filing is ultimately submitted to the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.

Because time, labor, and compliance research are initiated upon purchase, no refunds, chargebacks, or payment reversals will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

Change of mind

Duplicate or accidental orders

Determination that the service is not required

Delays caused by missing or incorrect information provided by the customer

If you believe a payment was made in error, you must contact our support team immediately. While refunds are not available, we will review your request to determine whether alternative assistance or service adjustments may be possible at our discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Government delays, system outages, or rejections;
• Penalties or fees incurred due to user inaction or inaccurate data;
• Errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the user.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

7. Communication & Consent

By providing your contact information, you consent to:

• Receive email and/or SMS reminders related to NY HUT filing deadlines and service updates;
• Be contacted for essential service or compliance notifications.

You can opt out of reminders at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly.

8. Policy Changes

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
